Here is another Mother's Day Card!

I am having a lot of fun making Mother's Day cards. The dog is from the Cricut Cartridge Paisley. The green shape behind the dog is from a spellbinders nestabilities. I think the dog is just too cute! I thought the star paper was the perfect background. I added some tennis balls as a fun accent. I hope you enjoy! I love reading your comments!

Mother's Day Card

I have been having so much fun making different cards. My cousin was here this weekend and we ended up shopping for 4 hours and then created until 3:30 in the morning. I taught her how to make a spinner card and decided to share the one I made with you!

While we were shopping I was going through all sorts of mat stacks (my new faves) at Joann's. I found the All Dressed Up DCWV mat stack and fell in love. This paper is so pretty! It was already dressed up so I didn't have to do much. I chalked the edges and added three light green gems in the top left corner.

Here is my spinner card!

Happy Mother's Day and Mom are both from Pink By Design's Our Mothers set! I hope you enjoyed the card! I love comments!

Welcome to our Mother's Day blog hop. Thank you Jamie for asking me to be in such a special hop! Mother's Day is such a special day! If not start at the beginning at Jamie's blog for all the wonderful projects lined up for you today.

I decided to make a card for my mom! My mom is my best friend and I love her more than the world. She is always there when I just want to talk, chat on facebook, or have had a hard day at work. I recently learned how to make an easel card and wanted to make one for her! The girl is Fleur Anya from The Greeting Farm colored with Copic markers.
This sentiment was perfect for the inside and can be found from Pink By Design.
This is also from Pink By design. I used this as the stopper for the easel! I hope you enjoy this card and have a great day!

Welcome to the 28 Candles Blog Hop! First of all I want to say, "Happy 28th Birthday Kimi!!! I hope your day was as wonderful as you!"  Birthdays are so much fun! The theme of this blog hop is all about birthdays!   If you have just hopped here and would like to start celebrating at the beginning click on Lovebug Creations! For my project I decided to make a birthday card and try some new techniques and supplies. I stamped a Birthday Anya Greeting Farm stamp and colored it in using Copic Markers and colored pencils. I chalked around the image. I used black enamel accents for the headband and I love the shine! The white frosting on the cake has glitter but isn't showing up in the pic. I added buttons, ribbon and a flower. Happy Birthday Sentiment is from Pink By Design's Scripted Year set.  I hope you like it! I love comments!

Blog Candy~ I am giving away a handmade Recipe book to one lucky commenter!  If you want to see a picture of one, just check out my fan page on facebook Ricketts Cricuts! All you have to do is leave me a comment and check back on the 19th! I would love it if you become a follower too!

Happy Birthday Sarah!

Today is my friend Sarah's Birthday! She lives in another state so I can't say Happy Birthday in person so I decided to make this for her! I hope it arrives to her home today! I know she likes the colors purple and black~

I love how this banner turned out even though its a lot bigger than I planned. I like the scallop circles on the pennants. Cindy Loo font makes it fun too! Its hard to see but there is a purple gem in the middle of each of the letters! I hope you like it Sarah!
